Celebrating Lalo Schifrin: 85th birthday concert
Musicians at Play and Music Fund Los Angeles are honored to present Lalo Schifrin’s 85th Birthday Concert on October 7, 2017 at the historic Alex Theatre in Glendale. Guest Conductor Chris Walden will lead an all-star big band and special guests in celebrating Lalo’s life, artistry, and esteemed body of work. Summer of Salsa: Echo Park Project
The first performer in our 2018 Summer of Salsa series, The Echo Park Project -- created in 2006 by Carlo Lopez, a Latin percussionist from Brooklyn -- brings together in-demand session musicians presenting a combination of original material and hot '70s cover tunes.
